Messages from sister unions and supportive organisations:

Solidarity message to Reach NUJ from Somerset Trades Councils at Bridgwater and Mendip

Please accept our solidarity and very best wishes, from the Somerset Trades Union Councils at Bridgwater and Mendip, for your first Reach PLC NUJ Chapel strike tomorrow.

I shall be intending to support the Baldwin St protest in Bristol, after attending my own union the CWU's picket line at Bridgwater Royal Mail Delivery Office earlier in the morning.

We had our August meeting of Bridgwater and District Trades Union Council on Tuesday, and we considered Tristan's appeal, and unanimously agreed a £50 donation to the NUJ Hardship Fund.

Dave Chapple, Secretary,  Bridgwater & District TUC and Mendip TUC,
