The Drum online media awards 2020 - entries still open

The Drum online media awards identify the smartest, boldest and most original purveyors of news and views from around the world. From politics to sport, finance to film, the aim is to find the best application of talent and technology online.
Previous nominees of these awards include: CNN, Channel 5, Al Jazeera, Joe Media, The Evening Standard, Nursing Times, ITV Central, ITN, Pink News, Jungle Creations, Guardian News and Media, Trinity Mirror, RT, The Hook, Bloomberg, South China Morning Post, Haymarket Automotive, The Independent, Huff Post, Politico, The Sun, Ruptly, Sky News, Immediate Media, New York Times, Lad Bible, Vice, BBC News to name but a few.
The judges on the panel are internationally acclaimed and include: Mukul Devichand - BBC executive editor of voice and AI, Natasha Bird - ELLE executive editor, Brett Leppard - Metro growth and audience development editor and Priya Matadeen - Dazed Media managing director.
The chair David Tomchak, digital editor-in-chief, The Evening Standard said:
"Submissions that show creativity, strong editorial acumen and diversity will stand out. That could be new ways of attracting audiences, commercial diversity, a story that managed to hold power to account, something unique and entertaining…. or something else entirely."
The Drum online media awards are still accepting entries.
The final deadline is on Wednesday 4 March with judging taking place shortly thereafter.
