Ballot results of the NUJ trade dispute with VICE UK.
The ballot of members has now concluded, and the result is as follows:
Are you prepared to take industrial action consisting of a strike?
(a) the number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot is 43 not including overseas members pursuant to section 232 (2) (a) of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992.
(b) the number of votes cast in the ballot was 28
(c) the number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question was 25
(d) the number of individuals answering “No” to the question was 3
(e) the number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned was 0
The number of votes cast in the ballot was at least 50% of the number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot.
