Covid-19, a novel variant of the corona virus, known as SARS-CoV-2, was first identified in December 2019 but took just a few weeks to spread to the rest of the world bring with it, death, sickness and misery.
Despite several major speeches in February and several Cobra meetings to discuss the virus, Prime minister Boris Johnson was only finally persuaded to take the virus seriously in March, announcing the first lockdown towards the end of the month and only a week before he himself was diagnosed with that virus.
