TUC Congress 2021

Owing to Covid, Congress will take place online this year. All the open sessions will be shown live on the TUC website.

The 153rd annual TUC Congress will be online from 12-14 September. It will give every trade unionist a chance to get involved, connect with one another and showcase the importance of trade unionism.

The NUJ has tabled two motions this year - one on public sector broadcasting and a second on the safety of journalists.

NUJ general secretary Michelle Stanistreet will be on the panel for two Trade Union Co-ordinating Group (TUCG) fringe meetings - fair pay for key workers on Monday 13 September at 12.30, and stop fire and rehire on Monday 13 September starting at 17.30.

Visit the TUC website for more information, browse the fringe event listings, and sign up to receive TUC Congress emails.

Congress sessions will be:
  • Sunday 12 September 2-4pm
  • Monday 13 September 9.30am-12.30pm and 2.30-5pm
  • Tuesday 14 September 9.30am-12.30pm
