Join the NUJ’s Irish Executive Council at a roundtable discussion on building the future of Irish journalism.

NUJ members and student journalists are invited to an unmissable conference with prominent speakers focused on key issues including fighting for better pay, the role of public interest journalism, and the future of Irish journalism.

Members of the union’s Irish Executive Council will lead sessions on confidence boosting approaches for chapels and branches to build successful campaigns on pay, and speakers will explore steps to ensure our industry remains attractive to staff and freelances.

External speakers include former journalist and historian Dr Ida Milne, and Seamus Boland, President of EESC Diversity Europe - European Economic and Social Committee.
