Workshop – Union organising in a ‘hybrid’ home-office workplace With NUJ training programme co-ordinator Caroline Holmes

Workshop – Union organising in a ‘hybrid’ home-office workplace

With NUJ training programme co-ordinator Caroline Holmes

We know union recognition brings many benefits – workplaces with organised unions have better pay and terms and conditions than non-unionised workplaces, as well as improved staff morale and more constructive relations with management.

The practicalities of organising in the workplace can be challenging, especially in the Covid-19 era with staff increasingly working in ‘hybrid’ home-office environments. Even established Chapels need to develop new ways to reach out to staff and keep members engaged, so they can stay one step ahead and negotiate effectively.

At this month’s branch meeting, NUJ training co-ordinator Caroline Holmes will lead a workshop on building the union in a hybrid workplace environment, to help branch members gain the tools to organise effectively.

Please come and join the webinar to get tips and support, and share your experiences of organising in today’s workplaces.
