A day of action has been called for across Europe on Saturday 22 March to coincide with UN anti-racism day.
The rally will draw attention to the UK's international obligations to tackle racism and xenophobia, highlight the growing opposition of trade unions, anti-racist/fascists campaigners and migrant worker organisations to the increasingly racist and xenophobic rhetoric that has surrounded the debate on the immigration bill and the growing hostility towards vulnerable communities displayed by the press in the run up to the European elections.
