Panellists will examine the gender disparities, challenges and opportunities for making women  of colour more visible and powerful in media.

The panellists will discuss the representation of women and women of colour in newspapers, online-only news, TV, radio, social media, video games, film and television, sports news, newsmakers and corporate/technology leadership.

Our intention is to provide a space for informed dialogue concerning some of the contemporary issues our young women of colour face in and out of the media.

We hope participants will come away not only being enlightened, but also finding support, suggestions and solutions as they seek to create spaces for themselves in the media.

Refreshments provided.

The event is free to attend but advance booking is required. Contact Dominic Bascombe to reserve your place today.
