Podcasting has become the vehicle for some of the most innovative and exciting journalism of recent years, from Pod Save America to S-Town.
It is also providing a rewarding revenue stream for those with audio production skills and a radio journalists’ ear for sound. Aimed at anyone with a background in editorial, this course will explain what makes a good podcast (and bad), showcase the skills required to podcast, provide advice on the minimal equipment necessary and explain how such capability can be profitably deployed.
Matt Hall produces Big Mouth, the pop culture podcast, and was previously executive producer in The Guardian’s multimedia department. He has also worked for the BBC, the Young Vic and is a trustee of the Backlit Gallery.
Afterwards you can network and have a drink and tapas upstairs at The Chapel cafe bar.
