The Ferret Summer Gathering will look at:
- Media accountability and transparency: does the media serve the people? How can we improve transparency? Where does the power lie?
- Land ownership: we asked what to investigate next, and you answered, " Do we need land reform? Who owns Scotland?"
- Privatisation and outsourcing: what impact does outsourcing have on the public sector?

Carole Ewart (Campaign for Freedom of Information Scotland)
Ellie Harrison (artist and activist)

Nathália Urban (journalist and co-founder of Resist Brasil Scotland)
Lilian Macer (Unison) Living Rent
We will also have workshops, delivered by Ferret journalists, on Freedom of Information and fake news, verification & fact-checking. Offering attendees the opportunity to gain the skills we use to learn the facts and undertake investigations.

Owning A Collaborative Media will also feature our AGM (from 10am), where subscribers to The Ferret will be able to elect our directors and ask questions about our co-operative.
Lunch, hot drinks and snacks is included in the price of the ticket.
Each non-subscriber ticket comes with a three months of free membership to The Ferret.
A shuttle bus will be available to take you from Stirling rail station to our Summer Gathering with return tickets priced at £2 (included in shuttle bus ticket types).
