No to austerity, Yes to workers' rights: TUC march

Sunday 4 October 2015

12.00: Assemble Oxford Road, Manchester, from All Saints Park southwards.
13.00: Opening rally.
13.30: March through the city on a route that circles the Conference Centre, ending at Deansgate/Whitworth St for coach pick up.

Details

As the Conservative Party Conference meets in Manchester this year, thousands of trade union members and supporters will march through the city,  demonstrating a clear message of the affects of the government's damaging programme of austerity and attacks on the rights of working people and their unions.

More informations and where to get campaign material and placards for the day on the TUC website.  If you want to discuss custom designs or printed copies for your union, or need access to original design elements in other formats, contact rsanders@tuc.org.uk

The Federation of Entertainment Unions will be providing transport from London. If you would like to reserve a place email campaings@nuj.org.uk

We’ll be heading off at 7.15 from the Coach stop at St Pancras.The coach parking bay is located between the station and Parking area and can be accessed via the exit next to Station Reception   If anyone has difficulties finding the FEU group they can call 07515575469. We’ll be returning from Manchester at 5pm.
