Tutor: Mark Egan
I am an experienced mobile-video consultant, journalist and trainer. I worked for the BBC for many years, where I was as one of the Corporation's first self-shooting video journalists. More recently I have specialised in mobile video, delivering trainings to major broadcasters and businesses around the world. I am a faculty member of the Eurovision Academy in Geneva, delivering the European Broadcasting Union’s courses on smartphone journalism.
With my company, Purple Bridge Media, I both deliver training and create for major brands and news outlets. Previous clients include: United Nations, World Health Organization, BBC, SKY, RTE, RAI, NOS, SVT, Virgin Media, Marks and Spencer, Arab States Broadcasting Union, Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union, RSI Switzerland, TV2 Denmark and many others from Cape Town to Tunis. In addition to training I am also a speaker at major events including the Asia Media Summit (China and Malaysia), Mojocon Ireland and Nordic Freelance Seminar.
Tea/coffee and vegetarian sandwich lunch will be provided
