The Centre for Investigative Journalism is holding a training workshop for local/community journalists in Glasgow on Monday March 27 during the NUJ's Local News Matters campaign week.
Juliet Ferguson and Martin Tomkinson from the CIJ will be running sessions on data journalism and interpreting company accounts. Nik Williams from Scottish PEN, who also leads the Campaign for Defamation Reform in Scotland, will be running a session on Scots defamation law and there will be a session about the award-winning online investigative journalism co-operative The Ferret.
