A journalist who had his first page lead at the age of 14, James Chapman was for six years political editor of the Daily Mail before he became a special adviser to Chancellor George Osborne, moving to the Department for Exiting the EU after the referendum. Earlier this year he stunned his former lobby correspondent colleagues and much of the political establishment with a series of revelations from inside government and the highest ranks in the press.
In a wide-ranging interview James will discuss his political and journalistic career, and how the faults in British political coverage contributed to the Brexit crisis.
