Appeal from FEU Training

Our funding in jeopardy!  The very successful training programme we run with other Federation of Entertainment Unions is funded by government. We are expected to hit a range of targets, including the completion of SkillsCheck, designed to help you assess your ability in the key topics of English, maths or ICT. If we do not reach the target for these short, online quizzes, we will lose the funding and the training programme will end. FEU Training is a free benefit for members, providing a range of workshops, webinars and other resources to help you with your career. Please take the online SkillsCheck. Each takes between five and 15 minutes. When you register you will be asked "Are you undertaking this learning assessment in association with unionlearn/TUC Education?" Select Non-unionlearn and then choose NUJ from the dropdown menu. Please go to SkillCheck to get started and help save our funding.

Upcoming FEU courses: book now for these free, one-day workshops which will help you: use MailChimp for emails, newsletters and mailing lists; develop your communication skills; learn strategies and tips to achieve your career goals; learn the key steps to become a successful blogger; manage your freelance finances to avoiding being skint.
