NUJ Active
15 June, 2018

Dear member,

In this week's NUJ Active we are asking you to Support NUJ recognition at Buzzfeed. During the past 18 months the BuzzFeed NUJ chapel has seen many colleagues leave owing to a swingeing redundancy process and they have faced opposition from the very top of the company to the idea of having a voice at work through union recognition. It has been really tough. Now we are asking NUJ members, branches and chapels to back Buzz members as they cast their votes for recognition. The voting papers will go out on Tuesday 19 June and the vote will close on Friday 6 July. Please send your messages of support and positive examples of what collective action and negotiating can achieve to campaigns@nuj.org.uk and we will pass them on to our chapel members. Let them know that they are not alone and what they can achieve together.
