The National Union of Journalists.
The NUJ is an independent trade union and has been representing journalists throughout the media industry for over 104 years. We are a democratic, member led grass roots organisation – it is members in our workplace chapels and our branches who shape union policy and direct priorities.
We speak on behalf of our 34,000 members who work throughout the industry, as freelances, casuals and in staff roles in newspapers, news agencies, magazines, online, book publishing, in public relations and as photographers.
